My daughter was in a good new row sorority and it cost us about $10,000 a year when you add in all the extras...t shirts and so many other fees. If you can't afford it then don't go through rush....it will save you and the sorority that you pledge much trouble. I know of many girls who have to drop out after they find out the sticker shock of joining a sorority at Alabama...it ain't cheap. During Rush....I know that many sororities will shy away from pledging girls that say that they have been working through the summer to help pay for their education. Sororities don't want to be stuck with a dead beat. No offense.
