Ok, here is the deal with KD. They used to be the top house along with Kappa. That was LONG ago. Their downfall began when they quit taking quality girls and then it spiraled as those girls rushed their less than outstanding friends. KDs over the last ten years have lost tons of top rushees and legacies because girls didn't want to be in a do-nothing house. In the house today, are cliques that do not bend except to money. There is pressure to spend a lot of money on clothes and only date fraternities that basically are drunk jerks. And that is what KD is too. No longer first in anything except maybe rudeness and inability to see the problem. They lose Mt Brook to Kappa, Chi O and AGD. They lose top legacies to Chi O and Alpha Chi and DDD. They lose Tuscaloosa to Alpha Chi and Chi O. And THEY DONT CARE. It's all a game. The Montgomery girls are all middle class--which is fine--but trying to act old money. Also, not many care about grades. It's a mess. Poor sisterhood...lots of cliques....slim involvement....drinking and clothes and guys.... Kd of today
