This is a sad story. An assault. I don't know if it is true but Cornell men need to be aware of the guidelines that universities must follow in this state. You will be expelled or, at the least, suspended if you are accused by a fellow student. Whether you said it was consensual is not even considered. You have far fewer rights than if you were charged legally. Go look online if you don't believe me. Of course, if there was an actual assault then it is horrible for the victim. No one should feel unsafe on a college campus. It is devastating for the victim.
