I think it comes down to rush and recruitment. There is a significant gap between AXO/KD/PSS and then AZD/PM. The first three are kind of a toss up on personal preference (AXO for quieter girls, KD for sororityty/preppy girls, PSS for partying). But PM/AZD are the take all. Also, there is a difference in who they mix with. The upper lower sororitys mix with Phi Sig, Sig Ep, Fiji, Lambda, and occasionally upper/top tier (AXO/PSS/KD all do this) and AZD/PM mix some with those but also AEPi, Zeta, Etc., But beautiful girls are in both and those five plus AEPhi are bottom half (honestly AEPhi has that mixer schedule).
