After being involved in Greek life for a while now, I can say with certainty that Sig Chi isn't really the undisputed top house. There is no doubt that they are a really good house and they deserve to be well acclaimed, but it seems like people put them on a pedestal and make it seem like they're undeniably the best house at Cornell. It just seems like the house is filled with privileged kids, and I feel like some of them are kinda weird. I guess that makes sense if they're only judging rushes based on how they look, but still; I've even seen them dance on each other at mixers lmao. Don't get me wrong, their physical house is great and they have amazing sorority relations, but I feel like people give them more clout than they deserve. I've also heard a lot of negative rumors about them, but I take those with a grain of salt. Hot take, but I feel like it's evident.
