To every new member that just joined a chapter: congrats! It's so exciting you have the opportunity to find your people and meet friends that will be with you for a lifetime. However, don't think your exhaustion or rejection is over yet. For guys, hazing and various substance abuse starts now. Don't be afraid to report it when it becomes too much! Hold your chapters accountable. Also, don't believe that just because you're in a frat now you're suddenly irresistible. Treat women and other men with respect and respect boundaries! Girls, this next month is going to be very time consuming and draining for you. From rankings based on "attractiveness", countless meetings and lunches with current sisters, and the beginning of mixers, get ready for a lot of socializing and sometimes feeling like you don't belong. You'll feel very judged but if you believe your house is worth it, stick with it and everything will work out. Everyone, please know that everything works in the end.
