It would not be right to discuss who has and hadn’t done open bidding, but waiting for one is not the way to go through the process. You really need to try to keep an open mind about the houses who invited you and go into them attempting to make connections. If you wait for open bidding, and the house you’re waiting for doesn’t do it, or the do it and you still don’t make it through, it’s going to be terrible for you. There are no guarantees even if they DID open bid that you’d be selected.
