good insights in your last few paragraphs but your numbers kinda are off. You're right about the 800 rushes, and 540 signing, but the PC sizes and percentages are off. There's only about 110 spots at the upper frats (6 frats). Approx. 25 at Phi Psi, 20 at Sig Chi and Sig Pi, 15 at AD, Sig Phi, and DU. Most kids are dirty rushed in. If you get cut from an upper house its not the end of the world, its much more competitive then strat rush (180 each year to Core 4, although girls love to complains about how competitive strat rush is). Only 10-15% of guys get into upper frats. Upper mid (Chi Phi, Fiji, and Chi Psi) take about 20 per PC. Pareto Principle kinda applies to frats (80/20 Rule). Only 170 guys out of 540 are considered to be in above average frats.
