@wait: You're right about the investigations, but to clarify, the only reason Fiji and Pi Kapp were the only ones put on interim suspension while being investigated is because the other fraternities were reported for it but had no concrete evidence (for instance, Alpha Delt was reported to have done a lot of what you said -- forced pledges into a room and didn't let them eat or drink anything but spiked drinks for a full weekend) so the university dropped investigations. Fiji was investigated because a pledge had been drinking at the house and was let off because after a while it was clear that the kid was just drinking at the house and they weren't doing anything, and Pi Kapp was let off because it removed the brother who'd posted the picture of him hazing pledges. That all said, hazing is definitely still around, but I haven't met anyone that hasn't told me that it was within reason.
