I didn't go through formal recruitment and ended up accepting a bid for pi phi during the school year last year. I felt completely disillusioned about what being a founding member would be like based on some of the exaggerations I was told by the people from nationals. I think I would have been a lot happier in a different sisterhood. I don't know if I should drop after this semester or stay for the hope of it getting better. I feel like I already wasted so much money.
