If you want to be a part of USC history and are committed to it go for it and snaps to you! But make sure you understand that you will be in a bottom tier sorority throughout your whole four years, no matter how bad your sisters try to say "but pi phi KILLED IT for a new sorority!!!! They should totally not be considered the bottom just because they are new" - phi mu two or three years ago as agd present day style. Phi mu has done decent but they are still a little psycho with their self rankings.
