i think the lower tier is convinced that the upper tier only has vapid, classless, boring, nasty girls and that all the great personalities, students, leaders, etc. are all in the bottom tier. that's not true. sororities have their reputations, but the top tier has yes looks, but also all the intangibles. ever notice random "hot chicks" in bottom tiers? a lot of times they are "slip thrus", who turn out to be really cool, but a lot of times they are boing and have no personality and didn't stand out during rush. not saying this is always the case, but the truth hurts.
