Reasons Why Ppl Talk

Subject:
why sororities are liked/get hated on

Poster Message:
AGD: liked because-eager to get involved, seen as nice, unthreatening, sweet girls; hated on because-being so new, they haven't found their "label" yet (which can be a great thing) so people dismiss them as "bottom" and "irrelevant" AXO: liked because-"guys girls" aka relatively drama free and fun (with the exception of some of this Greek rank drama), outgoing; hated on because-have had very strong pledge classes the past few years and made some question the "tiers", the "guys girls" shtick can annoy other girls ADPi: liked because-seen as wholesome, smart, involved; hated on because-strong history at USC aka selective, pretty, Southern reputation, sisters tend to hang out with each other mostly so sometimes labeled as "cliquey" aka rude, stuck up, etc. XO: liked because-reputation as "not typical sorority girls" though you'll still see these girls dressed like girls in every other sorority (the hippie/flower crown trend is just popular right now, XO doesn't really stick out for this), interested/doing the same kinds of things other sorority girls like/do, these girls are nice and friendly; hated on because-have had very strong pledge classes the past few years (same deal as AXO), there's been a lot of talk about them on Greek Rank so that just fuels the bashing on this site, sometimes criticized for smoking a lot of weed but I think that's more due to their "hippie" rep not because they have a big problem with that necessarily
