I'm from the north and successfully rushed this past fall. You should not limit yourself to only 3 sororities. Go through rush with an open mind. The sorority I thought I wanted going in wasn't the one I clicked with at all. It will be harder for you coming from N.J. Get your recommendations and work on your conversation skills.
