You can absolutely have an insane time here without going Greek... there are tons of people who are gdis that have Greek friends and vice versa. Maybe freshman year you won’t be able to go to Greek parties bc any connections you have would be pledging, but between five points, other house parties, tailgates, etc., you’ll still have an awesome time. Don’t listen to these losers. Also, honestly, around 8 or 9 years ago, fraternity life basically got upended by a rouge new frat that wanted a charter and they narced on a ton of frats, getting them all booted off campus, and frat life has kind of sucked since. The sorority culture is pretty good, but tbh, the social scene is just so strong here too to bottom that it all really doesn’t matter. Greeks spend more time dt than at Greek parties anyways, and literally anyone can do that
