traditionally, adpi has been the top sorority at usc. everyone else kind of moves around a bit within tiers, but that seems to be constant. they, traditionally, take more extremely well rounded girls, pretty, but not so much the "hot girl" stereotype, athletic, girls next door, etc., wealthy, sc locals, etc., however, lately, they just kind of compete for the hottest girls with the other top tier sororities - still well rounded, but not as much of their traditional req's as much. i'd say adpi skews more southern and axo skews more midatlantic/northern (everyone has them now, but a ton of md/nj girls), but even that is still similar now. not as much as it used to be, but adpi more "southern values"/academic/philanthropic, axo more social/welcoming/party girls. both are great sororities, are able to recruit well rounded and pretty girls, and are highly desired, so, if they are options for you, you're in a great spot.
