the nj thing could have had an effect with adpi. all of the other sororities have come around to yankees (it was NOT like this when my older sister rushed - adpi and kd would NOT take girls from north of the mason dixon, and only one or two from the dc area) including some great ones, but i'm not sure if there are a ton of nj girls in adpi. doesn't mean they are bad or snobby or that you aren't good enough though - just the way it is! axo and zta are top tier sororities and they have plenty of yankees
