I am a double adpi legacy and my only rec was for adpi. I'm from new jersey and i had no idea how much people actually prepared for recruitment and i didnt even try and get recs. adpi still dropped me after the third round, even though I am pretty, kept a 3.8 in HS, captain of my comp cheer team, and done tons of community service/involvement(not trying to sound arrogant). Had great conversations with the girls, honestly I'm convinced it was because of my zipcode. the president came up to me and was like ohhhhh you're from new jersey....dropped the next round. I prefed AXO and ZTA, both great houses, with no recs. you don't really need them seeing as where i did have one it did nothing
