Recruitment is such a hard process. The sorority girls are trying to impress you just as much as you are them. All of this is a giant production and it makes the whole process difficult at times. First I recommend ignoring what anyone but your Pi Chis are telling you. Tent talk is NEVER helpful. You have women in sororities tearing each other down to make themselves more appealing and you have your fellow PNMs who repeat these rumors because they want to feel knowledgable and superior, but really don't know what they're talking about. And remember just because they didn't like a chapter, doesn't mean it's bad or wrong for you. Different people will fit better in different places. Second, just try to focus on the conversations you're having in each house. Each round allows deeper conversations with more girls. Try to find people you connect with. That being said, like I said this is all a production and they're just as nervous as you are. Some houses are stellar at recruiting and other girls feel awkward and nervous talking to strangers and yelling in their faces. Its understandable and you'll find that out next year when you're behind the doors. Once the make up comes off and the Norts come on you'll find these girls are more relatable. There are 300 girls in each chapter. It's hard to meet them all at first, so it takes time to find your people. But once you do it's so worth it. Keep being yourself and trust in the system. <3
