If you don’t sign the form, you drop from recruitment. By not signing you are saying you don’t want any of those chapters. If you sign and list all the houses you pref, you are guaranteed a bid. If you only list one, you are considered suiciding. This means that the house you listed you would accept a bid from has to have listed you on their #1 list or enough girls on that list didn’t pick them bumping you up to that spot. If not you will be dropped from recruitment and are NOT eligible for a snap bid or to accept any bid until the following recruitment Snap bids are rare and you can’t guarantee which chapters do spring recruitment so it is always better to sign the card, see who you get and give them a try for a few weeks. If you REALLY don’t like them after genuinely trying, drop before recruitment and try again next year.
