You can drop from recruitment at any time before signing the MRBA, including/after pref. If after pref, you do not like your house, you CAN drop w/o committing to a sorority and don't sign the MRBA. You only sign that form if you decide to continue on through bid day, and that commits you to accepting the bid from one of the houses from pref. If you do not like your houses but still want a bid, you can 1. still go to bid day and see if you like the house after all. You can not get snap bids then, but if you decide to drop that sorority before their initiation you can still do later spring/fall rushes. 2. you can drop and hope to get a snap bid or later bid from a sorority that dropped you. This is RISKY and I do not recommend this. I'm not you, so I can't tell you what to do. 4 houses is better than what a lot of girls had- you've spent less than an hour in each house total and talked to 2-4 girls out of hundreds, so you should still give them a chance. Don't be rude to get dropped- but be honest if you aren't comfortable. Trust the process, it's old and repetitive but it DOES work. My current sorority was not my favorite in round 1, but I ranked them first by round 3 and am so happy now.
