No, rank doesn't matter at all. Also, the way the FSL office ranks the groups is different than what you see on this website. No one is going to not talk to you because of your letters-- the "bottom tier" groups have just as many mixers as the "top tier" ones. AGD won greek week and phi mu won homecoming-- neither of them are considered "top." The only people it matters to are shallow people that want to call themselves better than others, and those aren't the kind of people you want to be associating with anyway. It's also not a majority in any house that think this way, it would be a minority, so you're safe choosing where you feel like you belong.
