No consideration at all for almost all of them. It's not quite right to say that sororities "used to have to take legacies", but there were special required courtesies that chapters had to stick to. In general, legacies used to have to receive a courtesy invitation to the first invited round and if they made it to pref they were automatically at the top of the bid list. And some sorority chapters had to notify the legacy relative when they released a legacy. But there are so many legacies these days, and chapters being forced to make cuts of girls they liked just to accommodate legacies was not in keeping with their right to choose their own membership. So a bunch of nationals decided to remove their legacy courtesy requirements a few years ago. The new way is much better for all concerned. Chapters can choose who they feel is best for them, pnm's aren't subject to as much family pressure, and great girls with no legacy aren't at a disadvantage. You need to check the national policy of the sorority in question to see where they stand on this, and also verify who they consider to be a legacy because every sorority has their own definition. If you are a legacy to a particular chapter where you are rushing it could get you noticed, so no harm in letting that chapter know.
