Thin ice just means there’s a cluster of houses that are similar in rank and chi o and aphi sit at the top of that heap but a couple of pledge classes could change the order. Honestly all the houses in the “mid tiers”are all pretty great. For those not obsessed with Old Row/New Row distinctions the differences between houses generally boils down to personal preference with all being pretty great in their own way.
