Explain the negativity directed at a sorority that hasn’t been on campus to generate negative opinions. Are other sororities so insecure they can’t handle the idea of something new being successful. I thought the idea of being in a sorority was to “lift women up” not push them down. It’s disgusting, cruel, petty, and gives further credence to those with negative opinions regarding sorority life. How about wishing them well, and supporting girls who didn’t have successful “typical” rush experiences, or those who just didn’t want to participate in the mass frenzy, but still wanted to be part of a sorority.
