If they were to lean in to being quirky, they'd have to be really careful to not also seem hostile to mainstream sororities. The DPhiE chapter at GSU struggled and ultimately failed because their only recruitment strategy was "We'Re NoT lIkE oThEr GiRlS!" They got no support, respect, or Pan love because they dismissed the other houses as snobby, superficial, and mean.
