Yes and no. There are sororities that would be a reach for you because you're not from around here and don't know anyone. You can't do anything about that. Recs always help at every house but have nothing to do with knowing girls in houses. If you're from California then a 'good' sorority is going to be different for you than a 'good' one for a girl from Atlanta. The sororities here are all good and you would not go wrong with any of them. What do you consider 'good'?
