You want to run home to the house that wants you! If you get dropped by a house you love, it’s okay! That doesn’t mean you didn’t have a good conversation, and it doesn’t mean the girls you talked to didn't like you. It means that while lovely, you may not be the best fit for that chapter, and who you're talking to is going to see that before you do. Remind yourself that things happen for a reason. The actives know more about the culture of their house and how you’d fit into it than you do. Don’t let the drops keep you from having an awesome experience!!! Make friends in lines. In later rounds, pay attention to how you get along with the girls in line around you, because some of them will be your sisters soon! Be intentional about what you talk about with actives! Tell them what you want to say, not what you think they want to hear. And once you make it to pref, the actives should be selling themselves to you, not the other way around. While daunting and emotional if you go through rush with an open mind and good spirit, you’ll be running home to 100 new sisters who chose you every single time!
