Here's what's up over the past decade or so 1).KA, SAE, Chi Phi (been the best for decades) 2). Fiji, Lamda Chi, Theta Chi, Kappa Sig, Sigma Chi 3). aepi, pike, Phi Delt, The rest are not relevant to anyone important (some listed are barely relevant but good crews that can crossover) The top tier are A-Squad, The Rest B-Squad. The A-Squad are top choices from the all-star kids of every major private school in Georgia, Memphis, Nashville, Charlotte, etc. as well as Episcopal and Woodberry. You pretty much must know somebody and SAE and KA don't really participate in formal rush. The only major town/school that is a niche for fraternities outside of the top 3 is Kappa Sig has a good thing going with Chattanooga, or at least has in the very recent past.
