Hey! I rushed as a sophomore and felt like I had an advantage during the rush process! As a sophomore, you already know about campus and you kind of already know who you are as a person, so it’s easier to find the sorority you feel you fit in best. You’ll most likely always have at least school to talk about with the girls doing recruitment so that’s something. Also, you’ll most likely have friends in sororities that may push for you, although for me I chose and found a home where none of my friends are at! The only possible disadvantage is that once you find your home, it may be harder to bond with your pledge class since most of them will be freshman, especially if you live off of campus, but you definitely still will bond with them!
