Go in with an open mind. Don’t listen to the ranks on here as hard as it may be because they mean nothing in reality. Every sorority had something to offer to somebody no matter what they’re looking for. Don’t let people’s opinions or false information get to your head prior! If you go in wanting a certain house or judging houses based on some preconceived notions and biases of good/bad, you will be miserable. Most people end up getting let down by doing this or end up liking the houses they know nothing about prior to rush. Just form your own opinions of each house during rush week based on how they make you feel. It will be obvious what houses make you feel at home, welcomed, and happy and which ones don’t. Don’t be sad about a house dropping you or try to force a relationship with a house during rush because you deserve to be in a house that genuinely wants you. Just spend the week focusing on you and what you want out of a sorority. Find what houses you are excited to see each day on your schedule.
