without asking or see him wear a formals t-shirt? I see a lot of frat guys at UGA in what is considered "good fraternities" here not even wear their formals t-shirt or they wear regular clothes (polos, khakis, jeans, gym clothes etc) , so you can't even tell if they are in one unless you ask him.
