They exist because their alumni, usually from a wealthy background by southern standards, donate a lot to UGA, and I'm willing to bet some of them work in high positions in UGA's administration. Because of that, KA gets a lot of leeway and Greek Life rep. The traditions and political views of KA members in this school that may be not tolerable in today's society stays behind closed doors. And so far, they're doing an alright job of doing that. Unlike TKE. But take a look at Ole Miss KA. The 3 KA guys got caught with the Emmett Till statue holding a guns and they got suspended I believe. Sooner or later, something like that might happen here at UGA. Maybe not now, but down the line.
