Works both ways. My friend was in a top three sorority and she said some of the "top fraternities" often didn't show up and if they did, they only talked to the girls they knew from high school or that were "worthy" of them and were pretty rude to the rest of the girls. There will be slights going back and forth -- sometimes it's guy slights and sometimes it's girl slights.
