Okay, I differ in the opinion of the above 2 responses. I think there are many of the 19 sororities that have great socials and interactions with a variety of frats. Most sororities have a lot of weekly socials and some semis and a spring formal. You don't have to be in the top few most "popular" sororities to have a great experience and a great sisterhood. The sororities are large and have a lot of different girls. You should be able to find friends and supports in most any of them. Give it a chance and go with your gut at rush. Some very extreme sororities decide a lot about who they want as things happen over the summer and when people register, but don't let that deter you, if you want to give it a try.
