I’m an incoming freshman and I know this website is like not reliable for unbiased opinions but oh well lol. So I’ve heard a big part of getting into the “old row” sororitys is like money and private school connections. I have private school connects to girls in KKG and ADPi & my sisters were in KKG and KD (diff schools tho so idk). I was reading stuff on here and now I’m so conflicted about the old row reputation (ik some people say it’s not a thing). \n\n\n\n\nBasically I’m wondering what the main difference between the “old row” sororitys are and other top tiers (other than which frats they hang out with). Is there a sort of reputation if you are KKG vs KD or zeta? I don’t want to be like looked down at if people think old row is “snobby” or something, but also don’t want to be judged if being in another top like KD or zeta have a reputation for hating on old row? I keep seeing things on here about how sororities are mad they aren’t old row and I wouldn’t want that to be my reputation, but I also wouldn’t want to be old row if they are known mostly for wealth? Sorry this is so long! And don’t say don’t worry about being judged because I do worry about a snobby reputation and I’m afraid I’ll misread that during recruitment. Idk who else to ask because the people I know at UGA are in these sororitys so it’s awk. I won’t take these opinions to seriously since it’s greek rank lol just trying to get ideas. Thanks :)
