I was a member of KA Order '78-'82. My son pledged and was initiated a Sigma Chi at UGA in 2011. I was furious. But, after two years of tail gating at the house before ball games and meeting his friends there, I can honestly say that he made the right decision. They have great guys and a strong sense of unity-brotherhood. My son really came in to his own and got something which changed his life during his first year as a pledge and especially during initiation. Their leadership and brotherhood is excellent. Their Alumni are engaged and committed--something obviously developed through pledge ship and a meaningful initiation. They have something The Order of KA obviously has missed over the years. sigma Chi's at UGA at the best.
