OP might not be a troll (but probably is). Some chapters don't do anything about transfers until after recruitment is over but idk about gamma phi. To clarify what I said about any sorority being better than nothing, if OP has already experienced Greek life and loved being a gamma phi at her other school, she's likely to feel like she missed out if she doesn't give them a chance. Greek life at UGA is awesome, so if being in a Greek life is a good fit for someone, they'll probably be happier in any sorority than they would as a GDI, because it really is a unique experience! But I agree it's not the only way to have friends or a social life!
