And I just want to add: It's possible to slip through the cracks during recruitment. I'm not saying this to scare you, but it's a reality for many PNMs each year. If you receive the same scores as another girl for conversation at a house, but the other girl has a rec, she will almost certainly be asked back to the house over you. Recruitment for many houses at UGA is simply by numbers. We're not a small school, so it's impossible for every girl in every house to be aware of each girl going through recruitment. Recs are relied on as an introduction into a chapter, and if you get a good rec, it will boost your overall score by some house's standards.
