How good that meat taste? Your perspective on this matter seems rather unusual. Acknowledging that these songs exist and are not unique to the Toronto chapter is one thing, but it was said before that they were actually sung by them. Even if we take the high road and ignore that they literally sang these songs, by merely being a part of adphi and joining AFTER singing these songs, there's an implicit endorsement of a culture that allows for such misogynistic content in their songbook. If their views did not align with such "music," why did they join? Aren't they the sheep then? This is not a trivial issue, I hope they better themselves as men and drop the frat before it's too late. As someone who has personally faced challenges due to misogynistic organizations akin to adphi (but not literally), I'd suggest you reconsider your viewpoint. Empathy and understanding are crucial here. It's disheartening to see fellow sisters still continuing to support this group in light of such revelations. Their association and the resultant negative attention are, unfortunately, a predictable outcome of their choices, so it's deserved. Your stance seems to overlook the deeper systemic issues at play within these kinds of institutions. I do agree that inherently these frats dont deserve to be on campus. Every frat guy tells me the same story - we aren't like the other frats, but that's just laughable. Every frat, including adphi, puts on a fake persona for us and how other sisters just don't realize that, especially aoii, is just depressing to me. Let's just cut all relations.
