^ completely ignoring the importance of lineage and continuity in a fraternity. The people who were around then were the people who you fit in with the best so decided to pledge them. The SA story part is partly correct but you're ignoring the fact that it's the response to it by the fraternity that's egregious, not the fact that it happened.
