The thank you to the post below. The whole idea of ranking is fueled by a fallacy that freshmen ride off of as they end a year of comparing schools and various "rankings". Its not at all that simple. Fraternities, I should probably say good fraternities, aren't colleges and cant be ranked. There "Frats"- places people go to to get hammered and have a good time, maybe make some friends. They all, with the exception of the lowest of the low, have great guys, who have friends before they join and come out with more after. The places that take themselves the most seriously and invest the most in making sure people like them are the ones that get "Top Teir" status. Proof of that is seen through dues and rushed based of what the little sisters think. If you want to get the most out of Greek life at wake you aim for the middle. The bottom is a waist of time and the top a waist of money.
