Sororities do matter outside of all colleges -- alum Networks, LinkedIN groups, alumnae groups in just about every middle and major city. My cousin found an apartment and Hamptons house through her NYC alumnae chapter. And my sister got an amazing internship. The TRUTH here is that the former Strings/Pi Beta Phi's lost their charter for hazing -- and then ran to their daddies and had the University recognize KBG because no other real strat would have them. KBG is a joke. So weird. So irrelevant. No more than a club that doesn't matter after Wake.
