That's pretty disappointing, especially given the advice to give other houses a chance. I didn't get my first pick and was heartbroken on bid day, but looking back, I see my house really is a good fit for me. After getting to know other sororities freshman year, I see now that I would never have fit in with my first pick. You should definitely give spring rush a shot if you're okay going with a different house (it won't be the house you dropped rush for). Maybe, if anything, talk to your Rho Gamma and see if what sororities are COBing. You kinda short-changed yourself by dropping.
