Forgot to mention that even if you don't affiliate, you're still a member of your sorority for life, with full membership privileges as an alumna post-graduation. If you do affiliate and it doesn't work out and you want to quit, you will permanently sever your ties with your sorority. I think there are a few sororities who let women go "early alumna" but most make you turn in your pin and quit altogether. Really do hope everything works out for you as we have awesome Panhellenic community here, but just know all of your options & scenarios before agreeing to affiliate.
