1. Check with your sorority to understand the affiliation process. In some houses, it's not a "definitely". There is a getting to know each other process and then the chapter women vote on whether the transfer can affiliate. My guess is that most transfers are voted in, but it may not be a given so don't be so sure until you know how your sorority handles transfers. 2. My chapter has had one transfer since I've been here. She came from another Texas school where our chapter is in the same "tier" as here. She hasn't gotten very involved with our chapter even though we did vote to affiliate her after meeting her.
