7. Meeting your rec writer is pretty much a trial run of the first day of recruitment. Practice active listening, body posture, smiling, sucking up, etc. Say you're so nervous and excited. Ask if it's okay if you can text her throughout the summer with questions you may have. 8. Throughout the Summer, make up a question about rush (even if you know the answer) and ask your writers. Yes, all of them. It'll make them feel important and keep you in their mind. Some alumnae might be very influential in the A&M chapters. 9. Some will want a live play-by-play during recruitment. Indulge them. 10. After bid day, make sure to thank them all.
