Also, some girls will act snobby to "bottom tier" sororities because of preconceived notions. They end up getting cut from bottom houses because they were rude and got low personality scores. It's not that the bottom houses get leftovers. It's that the bottom houses cut the girls the top houses took. That's also how they get some of the friendliest girls on campus. They may not be from "top" zip codes, but there are plenty of sweet, attractive, well-rounded girls in those groups. Just because you don't get a top-tier sorority doesn't mean you will be shunned. I was in a "bottom-tier" and I hung out with people in all groups. It is what you make of it.
