If you got a bid from a house and decided not to join yet you still can. Actually, when you receive a bid you are bound to that sorority for 1 year and there's no getting out of it. So, you should reconsider and go ahead and a least give to a try, I would. What do you have to lose, meeting great girls and having fun? AND for that one year you cannot snap bid or do anything like spring recruitment with any other sorority if there's an opening elsewhere. All you can do is wait until formal recruitment next year after the 1 year time is up and try again. Chances are formal recruitment isn't going to be any better the 2nd time around. Go have fun!!! Being Greek is way more fun than not being Greek, you'll meet the most amazing girls in any house.
