If you want until the next year you are lowering your chances of even getting a bid, if you're a freshmen great! Even sophomores have a pretty good chance however it's more competitive. They want more freshmen. If you can't financialy do it the first year they will take that into account. That being said its also never to late to go Greek. If you are yourself then they will like you for your honesty.
